i hate how much my scanner hates pencil drawings.

Very good feet, I must say. They look real and alive and... very much like feet.

The smaller drawing seems to have a bit too small head but otherwise it's fine, too. I'm not even sure about the small head, could be just a long neck or... something. The hair could use some shining, though.

Because we are just awesome like that.

...actually...(and don't tell her i said this)...my sister has gained some weight.
she knows it and is working on it, but...yeah...that's actually accurate.
i do agree about the hair-shining though.

The feet on this are really good. I understand what you mean when you say scanners hate pencil drawings, so don't worry. The shadows of the toes and the lines showing the thick skin on the heel is great. That kind of attention to detail is really good.

Your drawing of your sister is also pretty good, there's plenty of line and shade in the right places. I'd say you could do with practising hands, these are ok but hands are difficult and to really nail them you have to spend a lot of time. Rather than just drawing curves remember how they're made up of straight lines essentially, bones don't bend! They're also an easy thing to practise cause you can look at your own!

This is definitely a step in the right direction, but once you've sat down to draw really go for it. Draw loads, different poses, in perspective etc. Perspective is a really big thing you'll need to get. This kind of stuff is so much better than the anime type stuff you've got in your gallery, this will shine in your portfolio.
